About This Website

This website is operated by the BISSON13 campaign — Schelley Bisson for Ward 13, London, Ontario. It provides campaign information, positions, proposals, research, election information, and ways to contact or participate in the campaign.

This is not an official City of London website. Campaign forms do not replace 911, Service London, police reporting, or any other official government service or complaint process.

Email and SMS Updates

Email and mobile contact information is used only for campaign communications you have requested or consented to receive. Providing a mobile number does not by itself authorize campaign text messages; SMS consent is recorded separately where the option is offered.

You may ask to stop campaign email or SMS communications at any time. Where an unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism is included in a message, you may use that mechanism directly.

Local Browser Storage

Some website features may use local browser storage to remember interface or participation state on that device. Local browser storage is not used as a substitute for the campaign forms and records described above.

How We Use Your Information

  • Information is used by the Schelley Bisson Ward 13 campaign and authorized campaign workers for the purpose connected to your submission.
  • The campaign does not sell or rent personal information.
  • Information may be shared with service providers that host or process campaign data only as needed to operate the website and campaign systems.
  • Private form submissions are not treated as public comments or endorsements.
  • Aggregate issue information may be used in campaign research or public reporting when it does not identify an individual.

Storage and Service Providers

Active campaign form submissions are stored using Supabase, a cloud database platform used by this website. Other website and hosting providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver the site. Access to campaign form data is restricted through the campaign's configured application and database controls.

Development or public-review features shown on the website are not described here as active data collection unless the supporting collection system is actually enabled.

Public Material and Community Voices

Private submissions are not automatically published. Where the campaign invites a resident to have a concern or experience considered for public use, publication requires a separate review and permission appropriate to what will be published.

  • A private form submission is not automatically a public statement.
  • Names, contact information, and private street addresses are not published merely because a concern was submitted.
  • Generalized or aggregate issue trends may be reported without identifying the people who submitted them.

Campaign Forms Are Not Emergency Services

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

For an official municipal service request, use the City of London rather than a campaign form.

  • Service London phone: 519-661-2489
  • Official City website: london.ca

Contributions and Financial Records

Campaign contributions and contributor information are handled according to the requirements that apply to Ontario municipal election campaigns. Records that must be retained or disclosed under election law are not deleted merely because a general privacy deletion request is made. Campaign contribution receipts are not charitable tax receipts.

Retention

Campaign information is retained only as long as it is reasonably needed for campaign operations, follow-up, security, record-keeping, or legal obligations. Records subject to statutory election or financial-retention requirements may be kept for the required period.

Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

If you want to ask what personal information you submitted, correct it, withdraw a communication preference, or request deletion where deletion is legally available, contact the campaign directly. This website does not rely on a separate automated privacy-request database.

Questionnaires, Polls, and Public-Response Features

Some pages describe voluntary questionnaire, poll, public-response, or commitment-record features. Those features must not be treated as active collection simply because the page exists. When a feature is enabled, the page itself must state what is collected, whether responses are anonymous, any publication threshold, and how the information will be used. If the supporting service is unavailable, the site should say so rather than accepting or implying that a response was stored.

Contact and Authorization

Questions about this policy can be sent to schelleybisson@hotmail.com.

Authorized by the Schelley Bisson Ward 13 campaign. Municipal Election — October 26, 2026.
