Community Action · Ward 13

This campaign does not wait for election day.

I’m not waiting for Election Day to show up. Cleanups, office hours, issue walks, local business visits and community projects are how I want to stay visible in Ward 13. When a date is confirmed, it goes here.

Where things stand

Show up. Listen. Do something useful. Report back.

One event does not make a councillor visible. The goal is to keep showing up across Ward 13 and report what residents raised and what happened next.
How I would show up

Six ways I would stay visible and reachable.

One way to show upNeighbourhood Cleanups

Rotate parks, boulevards, alleys, and high-visibility problem areas. Bring bags, gloves, coffee, and QR codes. Capture before/after content and log resident issues.

One way to show upPop-Up Office Hours

Two per week where possible. Simple setup: table, sign, QR code, issue forms, campaign card. Use libraries, parks, and partner locations.

One way to show upIssue Walks

Walk a specific problem with residents. Document: location, issue, responsible body, next step. Convert the walk into a post and a City service request.

One way to show upLocal Business Spotlights

A recurring two-minute video with an independent Ward 13 business. Non-transactional and positive: tell their story, ask what City Hall could do better.

One way to show upSenior & Student Connection

Small service projects: tech help, grocery connections, student voter-registration support, senior issue-listening visits.

One way to show upCharity Integration

Focus lanes: animal support and pet food drives, youth support and ways to volunteer. All partner confirmations verified in writing before public use.

The standard: Do not claim a partner is confirmed until there is written permission. Use "invited," "approached," or "pending" until confirmed.

Whole ward first

Every neighbourhood in Ward 13 counts.

Community action isn’t just downtown — from Central London and SoHo to Blackfriars, Kensington Village, and Oxford Park. The point is simple: do the work where people can see it.

If elected — timeline

First 30 / 60 / 90 days.

Publish the schedule. Hold the event. Write down what residents raised. Report what moved, what stalled and what comes next.

First 30 daysFirst Community Action Event

Book and hold the first Community Action event — a cleanup, pop-up office hours, or a neighbourhood walk — and post the date here once it is set.

First 60 daysSecond Event and First Recognition Spotlight

Second Community Action event held, plus the first business or volunteer recognition spotlight published — residents named publicly for their contributions.

First 90 daysRecognition Spotlight Becomes Monthly

Establish the recognition spotlight as a running monthly feature — Ward 13 residents and businesses named publicly, every single month, no gaps.

Whether you have 30 minutes or 30 hours, there’s a way to contribute to Ward 13. Sign up as a volunteer and I’ll follow up about community action that fits your schedule.
